GERMAN ASSESSOR GERD KUST was the visiting assessor for the NZWA MARCH 2016 CLASSIFICATION TOUR.

Gerd is an accredited Verband assessor and has been involved with the Holsteiner Verband and ZDFP for the past 15 years.   We were delighted to be able to offer such an experienced and knowledgeable assesor for this tour of New Zealand.

THE 2016 LICENSED NZWA STALLIONS

Three young stallions have been approved and licensed with the lovely JE Rocher Couvert d'Or by Ramazotti being awarded Merit status and obtaining a fabulous score of 83.75% in the jumping.

MARES

A good selection of mares were offered for mare inspection and classification into the NZWA Studbook. Gerd was able to offer valuable advice on future breeding programs for the mares and describe the type of stallions that would compliment mares.

FOALS and youngstock

A fabulous crop of foals were put up for inspection this year with some very exciting future prospects. It is encouraging to know that the New Zealand Warmblood is progressing and our breeders are obviously on the right track.

GELDINGS

Geldings are assessed by Gerd in order to give feedback to breeders on the strengths and weaknesses of their breeding programs.
