Worldly brings together the wonderful gene pools of super-sire Weltmeyer with the finest of Bolero's sons, Brentano II.
The Most Interesting Heir of Weltmeyer
Bred by Rolf Boendel of Germany, Worldly was initially sold to the Page-Lewis family from Virginia / USA but his superior genetic value was recognized by the German Landgestut Celle (State Stud) where he was leased to stand at stud between 2001-2006. He was considered to be "the most interesting heir of Weltmeyer".
A Champion from the Start
In 2001, he convincingly won the Kampmann Internationales Dressurfestival, at Lingen, and was third in the 4yo class at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.
After numerous victories in young horse dressage competitions he went on to place 7th in the 6yo dressage at the 2003 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. In the same year he was again third at the Bundeschampionat for 6yo horses in Warendorf.
Wordly has since continued to compete successfully in Europe at S level.
Impressive Breeding Values:
Worldly's Total Breeding Values are an impressive 128 for dressage. To date, he has covered more than 1150 mares and has 15 licensed sons and 38 State Premium Mares. In 2005 Worldy ranked fifth on the FN Breeding Value Index, behind Furst Heinrich.
The Dressage Champion at his Performance Test, Adelheidsdorf
Worldly passed his stallion performance test in 2000 in Adelheidsdorf as the overall Reserve Champion and winner of the dressage stallions.
Overall score 136.92 / 2nd of 37
Dressage score 143.20 / 1st
Jumping score 105.23 / 15th
He scored a massive 10 for rideability and trot and 9.33 for his canter during the test.
Comments from VhW studbook:
Type, nobility and expression, combined with a compact, well-shaped conformation and expressive riding horse points are the remarkable features of this extraordinary stallion.
Dressage expectations were proved true during performance testing, when he won the dressage portion of the test. However, his outstanding rideability and eagerness to perform resulted in above-average show jumping evaluations as well.
The marvelous genetic inheritance of Weltmeyer, his sire, and Brentano II by Bolero as his dam sire, easily explains Worldly’s dressage superiority and beautiful conformation.
